LOVEMARKS

In 2007, just before I graduated from Lahti Institute of Design, I read the book ‘Lovemarks.’ I got convinced that human decision making is mainly based on emotions – that we only need one rational reason to justify our gut feeling. I still believe that. To me the strongest products, services, and brands are the ones that trigger positive emotions. Those are the ones we love, remember, and recommend.

HETKINEN

HETKINEN is a personal project done together with a Graphic Designer Inka Kosonen.

HETKINEN gift card is a moment with someone special, doing something you wouldn’t necessarily normally do, or doing something extremely mundane with a different perspective. HETKINEN gift collection highlights the precious everyday moments. All of the gifts have a short, playful, card-like explanation on backside that can be filled out with the giver’s and receiver’s names.

HETKINEN -products were sold in Aalto University’s Christmas Market, in Papershop store in Helsinki, and online: papershop.fi.

HETKINEN concept was so well received that we are considering next steps with the brand.
